What is a Virtual Agent?
What is a virtual agent you ask? Well the answer to this one is fairly simple. A virtual agent is someone who has a little bit of free time on their hands and wants to earn some extra cash by selling a company’s products or services to clients within or even outside of their circles!
The beauty of such a role is that it can be done in your own time, with unparalleled flexibility, and an income that is limitless and based on how well you can sell and get through to people!

How can I refer clients / buyers?
When you are approved as a Virtual Agent for yachting.mt, there are multiple ways through which you can earn your commission. One tool is through a unique promotional link. As a Virtual Agent, you will get your very own promotional link, which you can generate in your Virtual Agent Dashboard.
As soon as someone charters a yacht after clicking on your designated link, you will get your commission. You can also see a lot of analytics about your link, e.g. when it was clicked and where the visitor came from.
Therefore, the more you manage to entice people to book their yacht charter with us, the more you will be able to earn. While you will start off by earning a 2% commission off of each charter (net of taxes), the more yachts people charter through you, the closer you get to unlocking the possibility of earning up to 5% commission!
On the other hand, if you manage to find clients that want to purchase a boat, a whole other system applies. As soon as a potential buyer is identified, you will introduce them to the yachting.mt team who would then handle the sale given that the transactions here are not done online. As soon as the sale goes through, you will get a commission of 1.5% (net of taxes and expenses). If you even bring several buyers to yachting.mt, who successfully purchase yachts through us, your commission can increase to up to 2.5% (net of taxes and expenses).
How can I refer a yacht for charter?
Do you know yacht owners interested in starting to charter their yacht with us? If you refer them to us, then you will be in for a hefty commission for the duration of the period the yacht is chartered through us!
If the yacht you bring along is selected to be listed as part of our fleet you will start earning half of our commission rate (net of taxes) on the charter for life – meaning that as long as the yacht is listed on our platform, whether the charter client comes through your or someone else, you will earn a commission every time!
As soon as you identify a yacht that can be chartered through yachting.mt, you will need to put the yacht owner in touch with a staff member of yachting.mt. You can do that via the contact form in the Virtual Agent Dashboard. The yachting.mt team will request the required information from the yacht owner and conduct a yacht visit to ensure that the yacht for charter is up to the standards we would like to ensure for all of our clients. Once the yacht is approved for charter you will be notified accordingly and enrolled to start earning this passive commission for bringing in a new yacht to our fleet!
How can I refer a yacht for sale?
If you know yacht owners that are interested in selling their yacht and are looking for a partner to support them in doing so, then you can earn also by referring them to yachting.mt!
If the yacht you bring along is selected to be listed on our brokerage page, once sold through us, you will earn a 1.5% commission (net of taxes)!
As soon as you identify a yacht that is waiting to be sold and interested in listing on yachting.mt, you will need to put the yacht owner in touch with a staff member of yachting.mt. The yachting.mt team will request the required information from the yacht owner and conduct a yacht visit to ensure that the yacht for sale is up to the standards we would like to ensure for all of our clients. If the yacht is approved to be listed on our brokerage page, you will be notified accordingly.
Once the yacht is sold by us, you will automatically earn a 1.5% commission.
Can I get my own discount code?
If you want, we can create a unique discount code (e.g., “YOURNAME30” for €30 off any applicable charter) and it can be assigned to your Virtual Agent account specifically. You can use the coupon to promote yachting.mt charters and each booking that contains your coupon will generate a commission for you.
Please note that all discount codes are only valid for yacht charter bookings with a minimum spend of €850.
